Wouldn’t You Though?

It’s no secret that I have a bit of a stationery fetish…  A newly sharpened pencil and a blank page gets my pulse racing every time, and don’t even start me on what a sleek and stylish notebook cover can do.  And the smell… and… and…

These 2017 diaries from Julie Slater and Sons tick all my stationery boxes.  The colours are gorgeous — just so vibrant.  The paper is satisfyingly weighty.  And — oh my days — they have a properly chunky pencil tucked in along the side so you’re never scrambling around trying to find something to write with.

Ok, ok, I know it’s just a diary.  And you probably use the calendar on your phone, right?  Well, stop!  I’m a big fan of a pencil-and-paper planner — and with these beauties, surely it’s easy to see why.

There are a couple of choices about size and format — whether you want large, medium or small (I like the medium, myself), and if it’s all about a week-to-view (for the big picture) or a day-to-a-page (if you’re really busy) — with prices ranging from a very affordable £9.95 to £16.50.  For a whole year of loveliness.  Bargain.

Right now, my only decision is which size.  Oh, and which colour…  I’m liking the red right now — which colour would you choose?

It’s great to see another paper fetish person. I have never been able to bridge the gap into 21St century phone diaries. Love these!!! Can’t wait to get my hands on a pale blue version x
