National Theatre Live: No Man’s Land, Watford Palace, 15 Dec, 7pm

no-mans-land-nt-live

Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart return to the West End starring in Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land, and you can catch a screening of it at Watford Palace this week. One summer’s evening, two ageing writers meet in a Hampstead pub and continue their drinking through the night. As the drinks flow, the stories become increasingly unbelievable, and the conversation soon turns into a revealing power game, further complicated by the return home of two sinister young gents. Sounds intriguing…

Adventures in Moominland, Southbank Centre, London, 16 Dec – 23 Apr

moominland-southbank

This looks so adorable! Gotta love the Moomins. If you’re about town doing some last minute Christmas shopping this week, you can check out this new exhibition and take a wondrous journey through Moominland – clamber through forests, huddle in caves or set sail on the high seas to try and find the Moomin family. Sounds like a very nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city — don’t mind if I do!
