There’s someone I’d like you to meet…

21 Dec 2016

Well, my lovelies, it’s been a wild ride, these last two years — two years! — at Muddy Herts.  I’ve have had a blast in all sorts of ways getting to know amazing people and places all over this county of ours.  And now it’s to hang up my stilettos (Muddy or otherwise) — or, in fact, to pass them on to the very capable hands of someone new.

handover-1

I’m passing the baton to a fantastic editor, who will be Muddying around the place from … well, from pretty much now.  Look out for her in January — but right now, say a great big Muddy hello to… Sandra!

You’re going to love her, I just know it.  I know you’ll give her a warm welcome and continue to support the blog as you have done for me — thank you!  *sniff* — and I can’t wait to watch her take Muddy Herts onwards and upwards into the New Year an beyond.

Muddy Stilettos first tottered into the world in summer 2011 as a bit of fun for the founder, Hero Brown. The idea was a simple one: to write a witty but indispensable local guide to the very best restaurants, walks, boutiques, day trips, hotels, interiors and events (whilst also perking up her social life!).  Now, it’s grown into something much, much bigger — and much Muddier!  There are already 10 Muddy counties, we’re launching a further six Muddy Stilettos county blogs next year, and all 17 blogs will be linked by a cheeky app by the end of 2107. *gasp*

And what better way to end the Muddy year than with a nomination in the UK Blog Awards 2017!  We’d be delighted if you’d vote for us – you can do that HERE – what a cracking start to Sandras’s editorship it would be if we won!

A very merry Christmas to you and yours, and here’s to a fabulously Muddy 2017!
