BAYoga is the lightest, brightest, friendliest yoga studio in Berkhamsted.
We’re right on the High Street, tucked between Waterstones and Costa, through a door you might have missed until now. Once you step inside, you leave behind the bustle of town, work and the school run to find yourself in a world of calm and wellbeing.
Yoga and Meditation
Our yoga classes range from powerful ashtanga yoga to gentle yoga, with other styles like kundalini, yin and vinyasa yoga. We have meditation classes, too.
We run courses for beginners and hold regular guest workshops. We also have Mysore classes, where you can turn up at any point during a session to do your yoga practice at your own pace, and your teacher will guide and adjust you as you go. Some students describe our Mysore class as ‘a private lesson in a group setting.’
Our yoga studio is open and airy, with two walls of windows and all the mats, blocks, belts and blankets you might want to borrow.
We have a separate Pilates studio, with two instructors who teach very small groups. If you prefer, you can have your own private session or pair up with a friend.
We also have treatment rooms with therapists offering sports massage, acupuncture, shiatsu, osteopathy, counselling and Bowen therapy, as well as our latest combined treatment of kinesiology and homeopathy.
At BAYoga, you’ll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere that’s in no way competitive. That’s not at all what yoga’s about. It’s about working your body to improve your strength, flexibility and muscle tone. The result is you stand taller, breathe better, and feel calmer.
If you’d like to try us out, we offer taster classes for just £5, which we donate to our local Hospice of St Francis. Just choose any weekly class and pop along with your fiver in hand.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
