Halia Rose

Muddy says: this stylish, colourful jewellery is also chewable! It has to be seen – and worn – to be believed.

Many of the best ideas come about when you are looking for something for yourself, and realise that you can’t find it. The solution? You start your own business.

Halia Rose is a range of accessories that manages to be both stylish and feminine to wear, and safe for babies to chew on. What a combo! It’s been created by Sarah Cooke, who, in true Muddy style, moved to Hertfordshire with her young family. And in fact, Sarah grew up in Herts, and after stints overseas, she has chosen to return to her childhood town of Berkhamsted, which makes her a Hertfordshire boomerang.

As a new mum, Sarah didn’t want to forgo wearing jewellery, but she was looking for something robust and practical, and she wanted to look good as well. Halia Rose jewellery is 100% non-toxic, and if you want the science, it’s BPA free, food-grade silicone. The designs and colours are gorgeous and the necklaces, bracelets and rings can be worn as stunning statement pieces by day or by night -with or without your baby.

Little ones love the chewable textures, so the jewellery can be used to help soothe teething gums. The designs and colours make them the perfect sensory object for babies to play with whilst breastfeeding, and the necklaces have a breakaway clasp in case of over-excitement.

The Halia Rose collection includes a variety of beaded necklaces and chunky bracelets for mums and grannies and there’s also a range of pretty necklaces for Little Ladies aged 3+yrs.

Would you believe that you can wash this jewellery in soapy water or pop it in the dishwasher? Halia Rose jewellery can be worn outside, on the beach or during messy play and still be as good as new the very next day.
