Temple Beauty, St Albans

Muddy says: Temple Beauty offers specialist and advanced skin treatments in an environment that feels completely relaxed and extremely friendly.

Temple Beauty in St Albans offers advanced beauty treatments. Before we start, perhaps I should say that if you’re looking for a manicure, pedicure or simply for a speedy half leg wax, you will have to go elsewhere. Located within the St Albans Medical Centre, in a building that wouldn’t be out of place in the Glebe neighbourhood in Sydney, Temple Beauty has an air of professionalism from the moment you arrive. But rather than the environment feeing clinical, the welcome is warm and natural and you are immediately put at your ease. This is thanks to Carron the owner, who has a real empathy that comes from her own rich life experience. The treatment rooms are upstairs, and they are as comfortable as can be, with just a little bit of fizz and glamour. The treatments are very much tailored to each client. Some procedures are medical, and if you are interested in mole removal, stretch marks, warts, thread veins, have acne or a skin condition such as rosacea, this is definitely the place to come. The consultation is relaxed and not at all rushed. Appointment times are generous.

Temple Beauty offers more advanced beauty treatments such as microblading, skin peels, laser hair removal and dermal fillers. But be warned. This is an ethical business that is more interested in the wellbeing of its clients than repeat business for further enchancements. It is very reassuring to hear from Carron that people are being turned away if they look as if they might be tempted to overdo things.

It’s quite a fine balance to offer such a range of aesthetic and specialist treatments in an environment that still feels as if you’re treating yourself to time out and something luxurious. Temple Beauty seems to have achieved this balance.
