Urban Flower Farmer
Muddy says: Emma’s story is inspiring: she worked in retail as a fashion buyer, became a florist, then read a book called The 50 Mile Bouquet which completely changed her approach to floristry. She now grows all her own blooms on her flower farm in Barnet. Her business is organic, sustainable and seasonal, and her floral design is stunning and constantly evolving.
Hello. My name is Emma Sousa and I am the founder of Urban Flower Farmer, wedding and events florist and grower of seasonal flowers. After building a successful floristry business over a period of years, in 2015 I embarked on a new journey to grow sustainable flowers in urban spaces across London and Hertfordshire, offering my clients seasonal, sustainable flowers for their weddings and events. I am passionate about nature and the environment and my style of floristry is very much in keeping with that, creating flowers in a loose and natural style.
I work in London, Hertfordshire and across the UK supplying stunning flowers for your special day. I would love for you to take a look at my website to see more of what I do and it would be great if you could leave your feedback or comments below. I also run small workshops from my studio in East Barnet from a hand tied bouquet to a winter wreath workshop. I look forward to meeting with some of you and hearing all about your vision for your flowers for your special event…..
