Gotta Have It
Feel like winter will NEVER END? Keep cosy until spring arrives with our five favourite cashmere knits.
Although it doesn’t feel like it right now, it is a statistical certainty that spring will arrive this month (the Spring Equinox, when the days will get LONGER and LIGHTER is on the 20th. PHEW). Until that wonderful day arrives, how about a bit of cheerful cashmere to get you through the last leg?
Classic (with a twist)
A cashmere cable knit is of course a so-called style staple. Inject a bit of character into yours with this balloon sleeved red rendition (Jumper 1234 Cable Knit Cashmere Jumper – Red, £215, Amelie, Berkhamsted).
Sunny side up
OK, you’ve got us. This one isn’t a limited-edition find from a quaint local boutique. BUT this sunny little sweater (Knitted Cashmere Jumper, £135, COS) is officially the perfect March knit with its bright daffodil hue and sharp styling. You can thank us later.
Softly, softly
The chic-as-hell team behind St Alban’s style institution, The Dressing Room, offer an array of super-soft cashmere, including this subtle (no princess pinks here please) blush sweater from 360 Cashmere (Brenna Cashmere Sweater, Tutu Pink, £198). This chic sweater is perfect for smartening up jeans, and it would work well with this season’s cargo pants. Go on, we dare you.
The Grown-up Hoodie
Keep the last of the winter blues at bay with this bright but toasty (and doesn’t it look comfy?) , Cocoa Cashmere jumper (Abbie Cashmere Hoody, £225) from the brilliant Women’s Society. And this isn’t just any cashmere, it’s – wait for it….. ‘super soft cloud cashmere’. Awesome. We cant think of a better way to brighten up the dreary days.
Flaming hot style (to warm the cockles)
Evoke the bright tulips of spring – they are coming, we promise – with this flattering flame red batwing knit (JACKIE Cashmere Batwing Jumper, £100.00) from Harpenden boutique, Red.
