A bouquet of … er… chocolate?
Ok, I love a bunch of flowers the much as the next girl — you listening, kids…? — but something caught my eye in Tring the other day that is making me re-think my Mothers-Day-related hinting.
Magnolia in Tring is a gorgeous little florist. I love their window displays, which are always beautiful, and they’re always really friendly — even when, like in the run-up to this weekend, they’re totally rammed with orders, as well as last-minute folk dropping in for something on the way home.
The flowers are utterly gorgeous — and beautifully arranged.
But. Seriously. Check this sucker out…
The Chocolate Explosion bouquet. No flowers, just chocolate. I mean, seriously. That would last me… oh… well, let’s just say it would last me a day or two. Or there’s the rather appealing combo of flowers, fizz and truffles. A winner, for sure.
But yes, flowers are good too, kids. Just make sure you don’t leave until the last minute. No petrol-station carnations, please. Think local. And think chocolate….
