Wouldn’t You Though?
I’m not thinking about Christmas yet – honest – but if I were thinking about it, a selection of these beauties from Wildacre would definitely be on my list.
These gorgeous, nature-inspired pieces of jewellery are properly classy. Deceptively simple gold and silver designs, set with some unusual and beautiful stones.
They’re simple, they’re beautiful, and they’re not really out-of-reach expensive. Perfect. I like the rings a lot, but there are pendants, bracelets and earrings too.
They’re all designed and made by Herts jeweller Belinda Norrington, who has a strong commitment to the environment as well as to making beautiful things. The silver and gold she uses are recycled, and she’s working hard to replace the toxic chemicals normally used in the processes with friendlier alternatives. The stones she uses come from mines that treat both people and place well, too.
There’s lots of lovely browsing to be done on the Wildacre website, but she’s also happy to talk about commissions for bespoke pieces if you’ve got your own idea in mind — or perhaps a special occasion that is just crying out for a piece of jewellery to go with it.
So, Mr C, do you have a list yet? No? Perhaps you’d like to see mine….
