It’s true that art makes a home, and we’re happy to splash Lucky Lobster Art’s brightly coloured prints, tea towels, mugs, jugs and stationery over every available surface.
British printer maker, illustrator and all-round creative lady Jo creates every design for Lucky Lobster using handcrafted linocut techniques, and the products themselves are sourced as close to her Herts studio as possible (so you know you’re supporting more than one local business when you buy – let me just polish my halo). Fun fact – the picture frames for her eye-catching prints are produced in West Yorkshire, and the tea towels are manufactured in East Anglia.
Want to try your hand at a Lucky Lobster-style creation? Jo also runs Virtual Art Workshops via Zoom. You can pick up everything you need from her online shop (so don’t worry about raiding Hobbycraft beforehand) – her Virtual Art Experience tubes cost just £22 and include acrylic paints, brushes, paper, pencil and instructions to accompany the online art tutorial. Ideal if you know a budding artist in need of a gift or you want to create a homemade masterpiece.
