South Mill Arts has got it all – a theatre, cinema, museum, art space, gallery and dance studios as well as its own licenced bar plus meeting and conference rooms for hire.

On stage you can catch some top-notch performances such as major touring theatre productions, live music, classic and contemporary dance, seasonal pantos, laughs from big-name comedians and popular children’s shows. And, make sure you enjoy a pre-show or interval drink in the retro-themed Maltings Bar.

If you prefer the big screen, there’s a mix of timeless classics, family favourites, art-house films, international cinema as well as live theatre screenings from the National Theatre, Royal Opera House and Royal Shakespeare Company, so there really is something for everyone.

Do pop into the museum, too, it’s free to have a look around and you might even learn a thing or two about the area. They run free trails, holiday activities and local history talks there too.

They also put on a whole host of classes for adults and kids, from theatre and dance workshops to art sessions, Zumba and Pilates.

Putting on a private or business event? South Mill Arts has seven function spaces accommodating 10 – 400+ people, and host a range of community projects, from local theatre and art exhibitions to support groups and business meetings and conferences.
