Ocean blue hues, scents of the sea and nautical vibes. XV stripes' eco-friendly, sustainably-produced home accessories and linens encapsulate coastal living Island-style – and we love it.
Inspired by the Isle of Wight, the ocean and a love of sailing, XV Stripes founder Izzey Hung launched her vibrant, sustainably-sourced linens and home accessories range in 2020. Now they’re heading to Herts and will be exhibiting at the Knebworth Christmas Fair (26-28 Nov).
Looking for a blue and white-striped duvet set for her own home, when she couldn’t find the kind of evocative, dazzling colour contrast she was looking for, Izzey went one better. Teaming up with designer Vicky Sanders, she set about creating colourful home accessories with calming coastal vibes – and XV Stripes was born.
Key to their brand values, XV Stripes have an eco-conscious outlook: cotton products comply to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label, with every thread and button tested for harmful substances. Ocean throws are made using Repreve yarn, breathing new life into recycled ocean plastics.
Building on the beautiful signature blues and hand-drawn Cowes collections, XV Stripes most recent designs include the gorgeous grey and yellow Solent Collection, a nod to the misty Solent mornings.
Just released, the brand new Seaview Collection draws on inspiration from above and below the waterline, depicting animals and plants from in a beautifully colourful, maximalist design style.
