Property Flirt: 3 Yeomans Keep, Chorleywood

Chorleywood?  It’s all about the location.  Train links, underground and overground into Baker Street, The City and Marylebone, and it’s just a hop, skip and a jump to the M25.

And, of course, there are some cracking houses.  This one, tucked away on a private cul-de-sac, opposite Chorleywood Common, and right next to the ground of Chorleywood House, is a little beauty.

I love the split-level feel of the place from the outside – almost like you have towers on either end (that would be my living-in-a-castle fantasy out in the open then).  And the living space inside is divided up across the floors, too – one bedroom with built-in wardrobe and ensuite downstairs, one bedroom with ensuite upstairs.

The sitting room has a vaulted ceiling – chandelier, anyone? – and French doors leading out onto the terrace and into the garden.  And the kitchen-breakfast room looks light and airy, too.

Off-street parking and a 50ft garden are a bonus – it’s got to be lovely sitting out there in the peace and quiet in the summertime.  Oh, and no upper chain – result!
