Wouldn’t You Though?
Ok, I might actually need a beach house now to go with this new radio….
I’m one of those people who has the radio on all the time¸and I do like it when the radio itself looks a bit more interesting than the usual black or silver box with a grille and a few buttons. PURE – based in Kings Langley, don’t you know – have a track record in producing good-to-look-at, as well as listen to, radios. I just love my rather-battered-now Orla Kiely one, and they recently produced a Rob Ryan one, too, that is very lovely.
PURE’s Pop range, already award-winners, are DAB and FM radios, but they will also stream via Bluetooth (handy for all that stuff on your phone or your laptop). You can get them online at PURE or Mini Moderns, or you can pop to John Lewis (click and collect, anyone?).
I just love the design, though. It’s all very nautical and jaunty, and makes me want to be by the seaside with an ice cream and the promise of fish and chips for tea.
