Wouldn’t You Though?

Gorgeous, isn’t it? Only £370….

These gorgeous Mexican bangles and cuffs would make – just saying, Mr C – the perfect Christmas present.

Love this one, too… £94

Casita Bonita, which imports the most beautiful things from Mexico, has a great selection of jewellery ranging from the happily affordable to the ‘oh-you-shouldn’t-have’ – and they’re not only gorgeous, they’re very different to pieces you’ll see elsewhere.

I can’t choose between the swirly, more-open bangles with the large stones and the cuffs with the inlay or the cuffs with the gemstones.  I do like the plain silver cuffs a lot, too, though.  Decisions, decisions…

Casita Bonita has a real commitment to sourcing their products fairly in Mexico, dealing directly with artists and craftspeople over there, so not only is their jewellery beautiful but also ethically traded – and hand-picked by people who really, really know their stuff.  They’ve also got lots of homewares and gifts, which are gorgeous, but the jewellery completely caught my eye when I popped in.

I’m so taken with these, and I’m not even really a bracelet sort of person usually – I’d love to say I have gorgeous willowy wrists that would show them off perfectly, but, well, that wouldn’t actually be true…. *sigh*  Think that’s why something a bit chunkier – er, I mean, more substantial – appeals.

So, if your Christmas list is looking a little lean, one of these lovelies would make the perfect pressie – or if you need a little treat for yourself, even, to complement that party-season little black dress, then they’re a cracking choice.
