Winners’ Drinks

The 2018 Muddy Awards winners got together at Rothamsted Manor to share the secrets of their success and to raise a glass

Photography: Rebecca Fennell

The winners of the Muddy Awards 2018 gathered at Rothamsted Manor in Harpenden to celebrate their success and to share the stories about what it’s really like to run a business in Hertfordshire. Thank you to everyone who nominated, voted and took part this year. Well done to the winners! And a big thank you to Katie Simmons for giving us the run of the wonderfully ornate and quirky Rothamsted Manor. It’s available to book for weddings, big birthdays and any other occasion where you might need a manor house. Thank you to the charming and gung-ho Chloe and James of Nelson + Pops who drove their prosecco van from Bishop’s Stortford and kept us all a-fizz and well hydrated. Thank you to my mum and my cousin Jacqueline for coming to help on the day. Thank you Olivia and Marc at Trinder Hair Studios – winners in 2017 – for doing my hair (it looked gorgeous before the rain). Thank you Tiffany Harding at The Spa Odyssey for the wonderfully generous Elemis goody bags. And the biggest thank you goes to Rebecca Fennell for being great fun and for the fabulous photos. Thank you one and all and see you next year!
