<p>Do include Centurien Golf Course. Marvellous tea time in a relaxed atmosphere. Great for families with young children.</p>

<p>This totally gorgeous tea room is just the ticket for a spoily girls’ treat. It’s named after Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford (we’ve got her to thank for this indulgent tradition!), and you can opt for her namesake tea with Pork and Cider Sausage Roll, Hot Smoked Salmon and Horseradish Roulade with Macarons and Coconut Ice (£25pp), or a more trad version with cucumber and egg mayo sarnies, profiteroled and sponge pudding (£17.50). Add Prosecco for £7 a glass. Savoury top ups are available from £5-£10, as are veggie, free-from and children’s versions. </p>

Choose to take your tea in the regal setting of one of the hotel&#8217;s lounges, the pillared hall or the drawing room underneath the super sparkly chandeliers. From £40 per person (£45 on Saturday and Sunday), with a vegan option available. Add a glass of Sparkling for a £10 supp. Tea is served ma&#8217;am.</p>

This includes all of the above but with musical entertainment from a top tribute act, served in the St Alban Suite, also on 19 March. </p>

<p>The most gorgeous tea and cake parlour with its feminine décor and gilt-edged crockery, this place was made for afternoon tea. Book the signature tea for beautifully presented morsels that could fill your Insta grid. From £34 for regular, veggie, vegan or gluten-free options, to £40-£44 with a flute of Prosecco or Champagne. Plus there’s a super cute kids one on a mini cake carousel for £19 if you want to treat your mini me! </p>

<p>This stunning Jacobean House on the outskirts of Tring is not only a hotel but home to a pride of peacocks (yep, I&#8217;ve been Googling my collective nouns!). Book in for Mother&#8217;s Day weekend to enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea prepared by the Head Chef overlooking the grounds where the peacocks roam. It&#8217;s available to book on both 18 and 19 March, from £34.95pp (with a gift for Mum ) and £44.95 with a glass of Champagne, too. </p>

<p>The brand new Afternoon Tea offering from this country house hotel might not be available until 3 April, but a voucher for Mother&#8217;s Day would make a lovely gift. Inspired by the seasonal produce picked from Jemima’s Kitchen Garden, on site. The menu includes Chicken navette with nettle and wild garlic pesto and a Walled Garden forced rhubarb and Jemima’s lemon verbena tartlet. Served in the hotel&#8217;s luxe Lounges, it starts at £53 pp with veggie, vegan and kids&#8217; options available and costs £65 with a glass of Champagne. </p>

<p>Usually a wedding venue, Tewinbury&#8217;s rustic Tythe Barn is hosting a special Mother&#8217;s Day Afternoon Tea between 12 &#8211; 3pm on 19 March. There&#8217;ll be Smoked Salmon, Honey Roast Ham, Egg Mayo and Coronation Chicken sarnies, plus warm scones and mini desserts for £35pp plus a free glass of Prosecco for Mum. lovely. They also do a traditional, tipsy (ooh, hello!) and children&#8217;s afternoon tea at other times in the Cowshed. </p>
