Whether you’re after an intimate or grand affair, you can choose between six different spaces for ceremonies (five of which are licenced for weddings), drinks receptions (for 20 – 120), or seated dinners (for 10 – 80). Plus, wedding packages include exclusive use – meaning it’s ALL yours for your big day. Packed with original historic features – think stained glass, family crests, portraits, oak panelling, fireplaces and marquetry flooring – there’s the stunning Library, the light and airy Orangery, the Great Drawing Room, the Spanish Leather room, the Lounge and the Hall.

The in-house caterers will take care the food and can provide anything from afternoon teas and buffets to three-course corporate dinners or wedding breakfasts. And, being based on a world-renowned scientific research institute, dedicated to reducing climate change and its impact on food production, you can be safe in the knowledge that the Rothamsted team have the utmost commitment to sustainability. This includes everything from cutting down on single-use plastics to using locally sourced produce and ungraded (aka wonky!) veg. Big green tick!
