Woburn Safari Park, Woburn

Get up close and personal with over 1,000 species of animals at the wonderful Woburn Safari Park.

It’s seems rather unlikely that one would stumble upon an all singing all dancing safari park just outside historic, elegant Woburn, but here it is! This Bedfordshire wonder boasts 360 acres of beautiful parkland, with a whopping 1,000 wild and exotic animal specie on site. And it’s really unique, too, with both foot and road safaris (I know which one I’d prefer!) on offer – so that you can see the animals out and about roaming. It’s not quite the African savannah, but it’s definitely the closest you can get to it in rural Bedfordshire.

Admission includes unlimited circuits of the Road Safari – you know the kids are going to want to go round a few times – and a separate (don’t worry, there won’t be any lions on this route! LOL – foot safaris, allowing you to experience the animals in a wonderfully unique way.

There’s also a great Go Ape facility on site, as well as an indoor play area (the Mammoth Play Ark), miniature train tour (which takes you past the alpacas) aaaand a tree top giraffe trail. I mean, that’s a lot of fun for one day.
