<p>The creative peeps, (artist and producer Talia Giles and artist Laura Holmes &#8211; below &#8211; with <a href="https://www.lovebedford.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BedfordBID</a>), who bring you the fab monthly Bedford Flea, Affordable Art &amp; Local Produce Market from April to November, are going even bigger and better for Christmas, with a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/187045987780153/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">whole festive weekender</a> from <strong>2 &#8211; 3 December</strong>. <h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-rummage-the-stalls">Rummage the stalls</h2>



<p>At the heart of the event will be the popular Bedford Flea, Affordable Art &amp; Local Produce Market, where you can rummage and haggle to your heart&#8217;s content at the Flea stalls, as well as find local produce, street food and live music in Harpur Square. </p>

<p>Meanwhile on Riverside Square there&#8217;ll be work by local artists, including jewellery and ceramics on display (and for sale!), at the Affordable Art &amp; Makers tent. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Shop for gifts </h2>



<p>As well as all of the stalls mentioned above, the local council&#8217;s Bedford Markets will be hosting a festive craft and gift fair at the Harpur Suite, as well as putting on seasonal entertainment, including live music all around the town, plus the weekly Charter Market on St. Paul’s Square and Midland Road. So there&#8217;ll be plenty of opportunities to fill your boots with gifts and goodies. </p>

<p>It&#8217;s all aboard the Love Bedford Express Land Train &#8211; back again this year by popular demand. It&#8217;ll be at Silver Square Station ready to take passengers on a festive ride along Midland Road and back, complete with bubbles and Christmas music playing out on route. Plus it&#8217;s completely FREE! </p>

<p>And what Christmas market would be complete without the chance to meet the big guy in red (not this one, he&#8217;s one of the stall holders!)? The actual Father Christmas will be in his grotto at the Harpur Centre basement &#8211; best get those letters written then, kids!</p>
