Savour a sumptuous festive afternoon tea in the grand Ballroom then gather for a cosy storytime with Santa in the library. Tickets adults £55, children £60.

Tick off the gift list at the Christmas market then take a spin on the ice rink or hop on the Ferris wheel and enjoy the sparkling lights from up high. He’s a busy guy, but Santa will be kicking off events at <a href="https://www.meadopenfarm.co.uk/events/view/christmas-at-mead-open-farm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mead Open Farm</a> from 6-24 Dec. Meet him in his grotto, then wander through the magical forest, make reindeer food, decorate gingerbread men with Mother Christmas, and create your own cuddly bear to take home. &nbsp;After all that, go chill in the Alpine village. &nbsp;



If your little ones are as keen to meet the reindeer as they are to meet the big man himself, then the&nbsp; <a href="https://willowsactivityfarm.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/68827?catID=65491&amp;" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Santa Spectacular</a> at Willows Activity Farm should do the trick. Dasher and Dancer will be on show in the farmyard and the kids can also enjoy funfair rides, a synthetic ice rink, a Toy Worshop, and a winter wonderland before meeting Santa himself in his festive grotto. From 22-30 Nov plus weekends 6-21 Dec and 22-24 Dec. 



Hop aboard the fairy-lit tractor trailer at Hatfield Park and listen to the tale of Santa’s lost reindeer. Then walk through the West Garden for a <a href="https://hatfield-house.co.uk/event/a-palace-visit-with-santa-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Palace Visit with Santa</a> himself as he dishes out free gifts next to the fireplace in the Upper Solar Room. Floral designer Sophie Ayres will be back at <a href="https://www.parishouse.co.uk/events/wreath-making-2025/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Paris House</a>, Woburn on Nov 27 &amp; 28 to help you to create a stunning wreath from seasonal foliage and Christmas accessories. Your wreaths will easily last to until Christmas and after the big day simply put the base in the compost &#8211; it’s 100% biodegradable, you know.



For a super-luxe wreath, head to Fanhams Hall for the <a href="https://www.exclusive.co.uk/fanhams-hall/highlights/christmas-wreath-making-workshop/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Christmas Wreath Making Workshop</a> on 29 &amp; 30 Nov and 6 Dec. Expert florist Sally, founder of Halo Blossom Floral Design, will help you create a door decoration with flair and there’ll be plenty of mulled wine and mince pies on hand to keep the festive cheer going.

Not only that, there’s a glittering new observation wheel to take it all in from up high and dog-friendly nights every Wednesday and Thursday evening so you can bring the whole household. And <a href="https://www.tewinbury.co.uk/woodland-light-trial-2025/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Woodland Light Trail</a> at Tewinbury is going big this year. In fact, four times bigger with an illuminated path winding through the woods and fields with interactive installations, playful projections plus loads of music along the way.
